Rainwater Collection System Details:

Our best seller is the "Basic System," made up of two barrels, with a standard hose spigot. Our systems can however, be made to your specifications.

The basic Rainwater Collection System holds approximately 100 gallons of water. The systems can be expanded in 50 gallon increments. Our standard system consists of two barrels, a base, and a provision to attach a standard garden hose (or "hose pipe" if you're from the South).
If desired, we offer for purchase several styles of hand powered pumps that can be mounted directly on top of the Rainwater Collection System. At your request, we can also design a solar or conventionally powered pump system to be purchased in addition to your Rainwater Collection System. A "roof washer" (sediment tube) can be added to your system to help remove smaller debris like bird droppings.

Options:

  • The Basic System can be expanded to meet your needs. The expansion can be done with the initial installation, or at any time in the future.
  • We also offer systems that utilize rectangular tanks. These tanks can range in size from 50 gallons to 1,500 gallons. Rectangular tanks can be sized to fit under many decks. There may need to be special precautions taken to prevent foundation damage.
  • We can also install underground collection tanks that are pump driven.
  • Pumps can be added to any system. The pumps can be sized just to aid in filling buckets, or to operate soaker hoses and sprinklers.
  • Solar powered pumps are available.
  • We have options to collect the overflow water from the system and direct it away from the home, if needed.
  • Rainwater Collection Systems can be installed on any building that has rain gutters. The systems can be installed next to garages, sheds, barns, etc.
